This chapter provides an enumeration and some details of the various inducements and assistance available to local governments and private developers in Missouri that may be involved in the development and redevelopment of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Discussion focuses on those statutes and programs most frequently and successfully utilized and those demonstrating future promise. Discussion illustrates potential for the effective combination of incentive programs to provide additional opportunities or to address particular project circumstances.
