The National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), as amended, 29 U.S.C. §§ 151 et seq., provides the framework for national labor-management policy. The primary provisions on statutory employee protections and unfair labor practices are contained in NLRA §§ 7 and 8, 29 U.S.C. §§ 157 and 158.
