Section 1.7 Appointment Confirmation Letter

Once an appointment is set, a letter should be sent to the client confirming the appointment; a map and directions to the office should also be enclosed. The letter can also include a list of information that the client should bring to the initial consultation. If there is a charge for the consultation, it should be specified in the letter.

The letter may be simple and, at a minimum, remind the client of the date and time of the appointment. The letter might read like the following:
