A. (§1.63) Requirement of Transfer
For an intended inter vivos trust to be valid, there must be an effective transfer of the present interest of the property that will be the trust estate to the person or persons the settlor wishes to be the trustee or trustees. Edgar v. Fitzpatrick, 377 S.W.2d 314, 317 (Mo. banc 1964). Nothing must remain to be done by the settlor to complete transfer of title, and it must be fully executed. State ex rel.
