A. (§1.50) Generally

The selection of a trustee or trustees can be a very complex and difficult decision. A few of the factors to consider are:

the nature of the trust property and the management duties that accompany it;

the expertise needed by the trustee; and

the ability of the trustee to look after the needs of a beneficiary or beneficiaries and to effectively carry out the intent of the settlor as expressed in the trust instrument.
