a. (§1.5) Generally

“‘Impeachment is directed to the credibility of the witness for the purpose of discrediting him. It ordinarily furnishes no factual evidence.’” Londagin v. State, 141 S.W.3d 114, 119 n.4 (Mo. App. S.D. 2004) (quoting Talley v. Richart, 185 S.W.2d 23, 26 (Mo. 1945)).
