C. (§1.5) Effect of Uniform Commercial Code

In April 1988, the Missouri General Assembly enacted the so-called 1972 amendments to the UCC. As a result, Missouri joined the mainstream in terms of rights of judgment creditors who have taken steps to acquire a lien by "attachment, levy or the like." See § 400.9-317(a)(2), RSMo Supp. 2008.
