2. (§1.42) Attorney Self-Dealing
An attorney needs to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. Except for instruments for members of the attorney’s own family, an attorney may not prepare testamentary instruments that name the attorney or members of the attorney’s family as recipients of anything substantial.
