B. (§1.22) Estates of Nonresidents
The law pertaining to the administration of the estate of a nonresident was materially changed by the Probate Code of 1955 and subsequent amendments to the Probate Code, Chapters 472–475, RSMo. The administration of the estate of a nonresident is no longer considered ancillary to the administration at the domicile of the nonresident. It is in the nature of an original administration.
