F. (§1.13) Miscellaneous Constitutional Powers

Apart from the powers outlined with respect to the establishment and government of charter cities and counties, the Constitution also sets forth various specific powers for local government. For instance:

· Under article VI, §§ 14 and 16, of the Missouri Constitution, intergovernmental cooperation is authorized with respect to common functions and services (see Chapter 11 of this deskbook).

· Under article VI, § 23(a), of the Missouri Constitution,
