The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium received a five-year, nearly $500,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The grant is part of the Community Transformation Grants program, which supports public health efforts to reduce chronic diseases and promote healthier lifestyles.

About $103 million in grants were awarded to 61 State and community health groups, including two Alaska agencies, SEARHC and the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corp.
