Sealaska Corp. Reports Profit.

Sealaska Corp. reported a profit of $17 million before Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act 7(i) distributions, and net earnings of $10 million on revenues of $176 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 1999.

"1999 was a challenging year for Sealaska, and we are excited about the new initiatives we have launched for the year 2000," said Sealaska President and CEO Robert W. Loescher. "We are confident that our management team can lead us to our ambitious goals for 2000, and that our board of directors has provided us the resources we need to succeed."
