SBA Awards Kick-Off Luncheon

The Utah District office of the U.S. Small Business Administration celebrates National Small Business Week and gives recognition to Utah's best and brightest entrepreneurial talent.

The awards luncheon will announce the Utah Small Business Person of the Year for 2003 and honor outstanding small business owners, small business advocates and Utah's outstanding entrepreneurial spirit.

Women's Business Day Luncheon

Time: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Place: Little America, SLC

"Risk Takers, 30 Women to Watch," is the cover story of the March issue of Utah Business. It is also the list of the honorees for the Women's Business Day Luncheon on May 6 during the Utah Business Resource Network's "Celebrating Utah Business Week." The keynote speaker is Melanie Sabelhaus, deputy administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the emcee is KSL radio's Amanda Dickson. Zions Bank Women's Financial Group, Utah Business, the Women's Business Center, and the Salt lake Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners will co-sponsor the luncheon, which will be held at the little America. Tables are available for organizations that would like to support the Women's Business Center and NAWBO for $1000. Individual tickets are S40 prior to April 25 and S50, thereafter.
