Scarver v. Litscher, 371 F.Supp.2d 986 (W.D. Wis. 2005). A state prison inmate sued officials seeking damages for their alleged indifference to his illness and challenging his conditions of confinement. The district court entered judgment in favor of the officials. The court held that the officials did not show deliberate indifference to the inmate's mental illness condition, because he was examined and prescribed various antipsychotic medications. The inmate alleged that the only deficiency in his treatment was that officials failed to provide art supplies when they were requested.
