Spenard Builders Supply's Kodiak branch has received the first annual award as the National Industry Leader in Safety by the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association. LoAnn Larson, vice president of human resources, and Kriss Larsen, branch manager, accepted the award on behalf of Spenard Builders Supply during a national industry summit in Vancouver, British Columbia. Spenard Builders Supply was selected by a committee of safety experts as one of two lumber and building material dealers that demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to safety by exceeding basic safety practices and setting an example for the lumber and building material industry.
