ARMA International launched its first Webinar with a 90-minute session on Sarbanes-Oxley. More than 260 participants tuned in via their computer for "Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002: Overview of the Implications for Records Managers--The Legal Challenges," held December 12. Led by Rae Cogar, an attorney and chair of ARMA International's Government Relations Committee (GRECO), and Frank Moore, director of Smith, Bucklin and Associates' Government Relations Public Policy Practice Group and ARMA's government relations consultant, the Webinar explored how Sarbanes-Oxley impacts records and information management programs and professionals.
