On January 27, 2011, TEI's San Francisco Chapter held its annual IRS Liaison Day. This very popular meeting provides chapter members with access to high-level local representatives of the IRS's Large Business and International Division, who willingly engage on very significant technical tax and tax administration issues. This year's meeting was coordinated by Chapter President Jay Selwitz of Gap, Inc., and Ronald Height of Chevron Corporation.

A key participant was Thomas Wilson of PricewaterhouseCoopers, who previously served as Industry Director of the LMSB Communications, Technology, and Media Industry. Mr. Wilson moderated the discussion, whose participants included:

* Tony Shabazz, IRS San Jose Territory Manager, LB&I

* Nanette Hamilton, Technical Advisor Manager, LB&I

* Nancy Bronson, IRS San Francisco Territory Manager, LB&I

* Barbara Leonard, IRS Area Counsel, LB&I

* Don Focht, IRS San Francisco Territory Manager, LB&I
