Saint Peter's University hosts Esports Business Symposium.

Saint Peter's University hosted an Esports Business Symposium on March 16 featuring Marc Williams, managing partner of WD | Esports + Entertainment, as moderator of three panels of industry experts.

The event included three panel discussions: Esports Ecosystem and Opportunities, Women and Gaming, and Esports and Education with panelists including Ashley DeWalt of WD | Esports + Entertainment; Neil Duffy, vice president of Collegiate StarLeague; and Keisha Howard, CEO of Sugar Gamers.

Esports refers to competitive, organized video gaming, which has become one of the fastest-growing sectors in the sports and entertainment industries globally.
