I guess I would start by stating that practicing law in my hometown was the whole reason I went to law school. Therefore, unlike most of my peers, I had a solid vision not only of the type of work that I would be doing for a career, but also the type of life that I would have. I have always been an advocate of having a role rather than a job. And being a smalltown lawyer enables me to have a role that gives me lots of meaning. I get to be infused in multiple facets of people's lives and allow their lives to run with a course of certainty.
