The PCAOB has adopted rules on investigations and adjudications, as well as rules on registration withdrawals.

At a Sept. 29 board meeting, the PCAOB adopted rules governing investigations and hearing procedures, as well as setting out sanctions the board may impose.

The PCAOB also adopted rules governing the process by which a firm can withdraw its registration with the board.
