A notebook PC just introduced by Mobile Workstations Inc. is repotted to withstand exposure to water, shock and most harsh environments.

The Hummerbook is aimed at military units in the field who need to transmit real-time data from areas that do not have centralized command centers.

The computer is enclosed in a magnesium alloy die-cast case and runs on a 240V AC battery. It weighs 9.5 pounds with dimensions of 13" x 9.8" and stands 2.0" high when closed.
