A new rugged, wireless portable computer, equipped with a Windows-CE operating system recently was unveiled by LXE Inc., based in Norcross, Ga. The MX3-CE has enhanced power-management features, communications and configuration flexibility for a broad range of mobile computing applications, said LXE spokeswoman June Payne. Features include a touch-screen interface, a half-VGA screen (640 x 240 pixels) and compatibility with vehicle-mounted cradles attached to forklifts or other industrial-type vehicles.
