Rohrer, Kostroski leave JLL, start new firm, Rokos.

Former JLL commercial real estate brokers Chris Rohrer and Pete Kostroski have left the Minneapolis office of that firm to start their own, Rokos Advisors. Rohrer and Kostroski will provide consultation and brokerage services in a variety of industries.

The company officially opened for business on Monday.

Rohrer and Kostroski have negotiated over 16 million square feet of office and industrial leases, according to a Rokos press release. They specialize in corporate solutions and tenant representation and have represented clients including Prime Therapeutics, Foodsby, Clear Night, Microsoft, Piper Jaffray, Oppenheimer, Digi-Key and Olympus Medical.

Rohrer has over 20 years of corporate real estate strategy and negotiation experience, beginning with eight years at what is now Cushman & Wakefield and 12 years at JLL. He was previously JLL's Minnesota market leader.

Rokos, he said in a statement, will be focused on helping business find "effective spaces" in which to do business.
