At an international robotics conference in Hong Kong in June, computer scientists from the University of Washington reported that crowd sourcing is a great way to teach a robot to complete a task.

After watching a human build a simple model out of Lego blocks--either a car, a tree, or a turtle--the robot was asked to replicate it, but with few instructions, it had trouble.
