The MONY Group

Karen R. Hansen, a financial professional for the member companies of The MONY Group, was named MONY's 2001 Triple Crown Award honoree and has qualified for membership in MONY's Top 50. Hansen was honored at an awards ceremony at the company's annual conference recently in Phoenix. Hansen currently is serving as director of the Anchorage chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

ASCG Inc.

ASCG Inc. recently announced the promotion of three people in the engineering division of its Anchorage office. J.W. Graves was promoted to vice president/engineering division manager. Nicole McCullough was named associate vice president/planning department manager. Steve Pannone was named associate vice president/airports department manager.

Ribelin Lowell & Co.

Cathy Hoaks, manager of the personal lines department for Ribelin Lowell & Co., recently received her third consecutive SAFECO Insurance Award of Excellence. The award is based on marketing, business volume, business loss ratios and agency relationships. Hoaks was presented with the award in Seattle in early September and is the first Alaska agent to be honored, the company said.

Usibelli Coal Mine Inc.

Steve Denton was appointed general manager of Usibelli Coal Mine Inc. in Healy. Denton, a University of Alaska Fairbanks graduate, has served as Usibelli's vice president of engineering since 1996 and as chief engineer from 1975 through 1984. Keith Walters was appointed assistant general manager. Alan Renshaw was appointed chief engineer. Cheri Mueller was named payroll clerk and Nannette Stone has assumed responsibility for train scheduling and invoicing.

Enterprise Engineering Inc.

Gary S. Cain recently became a shareholder of the firm Enterprise Engineering Inc. Cain has 19 years of engineering and construction experience in Alaska and has been with the firm since 1996. He is a registered civil engineer and is chief civil/structural engineer for the firm. John Herring recently joined the firm as chief mechanical engineer. Kathryn Jacobson was hired as marketing manager for Alaska. David Stchyrba is a registered engineer and has joined the structural engineering department.
