ReWa, Salvation Army offer temporary relief for utility bills.

Partnering with the Salvation Army in Greenville, Pickens and Oconee counties, Renewable Water Resources has launched H2C its "Help to Community" initiative to aid Upstate residents struggling to pay wastewater utility bills during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rachel Wilkes, community relations director at ReWa, said the program helps bolster the Salvation Army's ongoing efforts to help those in need within the Upstate community, according to a news release.

Piggybacking on the Salvation Army's existing assistance program, the initiative is piloted by Greenville Water, the billing agent for most ReWa customers, as it distributes its multi-agency utility bill, and can be requested via forms found on...
