The Rescue Sled--originally introduced in 1980--has been redesigned.

The new version is an inflatable rescue litter that can be used on a wide range of surfaces, including dirt, snow, ice and water.

The Rescue Sled is inflated rapidly by a CO2 cylinder attached to the sled or by foot pumps. A six-point suspension system is used to hook it to a helicopter or davit for vertical extraction.
