Mark E. Felger, who also served as editor of this guide, is co-chair of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Reorganization group at Cozen O'Connor and the managing partner of its Wilmington, Del., office. He has represented all constituencies in corporate organizations and business insolvencies over the past 25 years, including debtors, creditors' committees and trustees. Mr. Felger has served as lead and local counsel for numerous creditors' committees and as chair of committees, and has represented committee members. He is certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and serves as a court-appointed mediator for the Bankruptcy Court in Delaware. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Felger has successfully mediated more than 100 contested matters and adversary proceedings pending in the Delaware and New York bankruptcy courts. Mr. Felger is AV Peer Review-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized by Law and Politics as both a Delaware and Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer," has been named one of the leading bankruptcy lawyers in Delaware by Chambers USA and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York. Mr. Felger received his J.D. in 1989 from Boston University.

Simon E. Fraser is a member of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring practice at Cozen O'Connor in Wilmington, Del., where he focuses his practice on representing clients in bankruptcy law, creditors' rights, corporate reorganization and commercial litigation matters. He has wide-ranging experience representing a variety of stakeholders, including secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, debtors, committees, equity-holders and asset-purchasers in various aspects of bankruptcy cases and commercial disputes. Mr. Fraser received his A.B., B.S. and B.A. in 1995 from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. in 1999 from Villanova University School of Law.

Eric L. Scherling is a member of the Bankruptcy, Insolvency & Restructuring practice group at Cozen O'Connor in Philadelphia, where he represents debtors, trustees, and secured and unsecured creditors in chapter 11 and chapter 7 matters. His practice ranges from advising clients on bankruptcy litigation matters to representing buyers and sellers in sales conducted pursuant to Section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, as well as advising on insolvency-related issues in the structuring and documentation of complex financing transactions. Mr. Scherling also assists vendors, commercial landlords and service providers on developing strategies to mitigate credit risks, and counsels insurers on bankruptcy and insolvency issues. He received his B.A. and A.B. in 1998 from Haverford College and his J.D. in 2001 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.

Brent I. Weisenberg is Of Counsel with Ballard Spahr LLP in New York, where he focuses on advising companies, lenders, acquirers, official and unofficial committees, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords and other parties in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court debt restructurings across a wide array of industries, including real estate, construction, hospitality, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing and technology. He is often called upon to assist clients in the purchase and sale of distressed assets, the prosecution and resolution of bankruptcy-related litigation, and the negotiation and implementation of distressed commercial transactions.
