The global market for cloud-based information governance solutions will grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 27% between 2016 and 2020, according to a recent report from technology research group Technavio.

The factors driving this market growth are compliance with international regulations; advantages of cloud computing; and the ease with which information governance policies can be dispersed via cloud solutions, Technavio said in a statement.
