Remington Arms Co. has been awarded a "Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)" contract by the U.S. Army's Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center. The five-year contract is for the upgrade of up to 3,600 M24 Sniper Weapon Systems (SWS), with a pending classification as the "M24E1."
