Remembering 9/11.

It is time for America to address the roots of 9/11 ("Everything Feels So Different," 9/6/02). So long as more than 1 billion people live on less than $1 a day and the U.S. Peace Corps budget is less than 1/365th of the U.S. military budget, terrorism will persist. The victims' families deserve sympathy, but those who died cannot return. Scourges such as preventable diseases, which kill 40,000 people daily, are the true enemies of peace.
