Register for upcoming ABV exam; new registrants through August 15 get discount.

Registration for the AICPA's 2008 Accredited in Business Valuation Exam is taking place now through Oct. 31. This year's exam will be given from Nov. 10 through Dec. 13. The exam registration fee is $550 for new registrants, but those who register online before Aug. 15 as new registrants will receive a $75 early bird discount and pay a fee of $475. To be eligible for this discount, a CPA must be a current AICPA member and a first-time registrant for the 4-hour or 8-hour examination.
