* In reference to Defense Watch, September 2009, "Attracting New Blood Tougher Than Building Jets and ICBMs," it occurred to me that what we need is a recruiting and scholarship structure similar to what major universities employ for the recruiting of blue chip athletes. Universities should recruit students for specific disciplines and offer superior "aid" packages like those (and superior to those) that athletes get.
