CHAMBER ACTION

S. Res. 244 (wilderness), which would

commemorate the 45th anniversary of

the Wilderness Act, was passed by the

H.R. 1275 (land conveyance), which

would direct the exchange of cer tain

land in Grand, San Juan, and Uintah

Counties, Utah, was passe d by the Sen-

ate, clearing the measure for the Presi-

H.R. 2938 (hydroelectricity), which

would extend the deadline for com-

mencement of construction of a hydro-

electric project, was passed by the Senate,

make supplemental appropriations for

Ocean) would amend the Outer Conti-

revenues from areas in the Al aska Adja-

to the Committee on Energy and Natu-

ral Resources.

Ocean) would ensure safe, secure, and

reliable marine shipping in the Arctic,

including the availability of aids to navi-

gation, vessel escorts, oil spill response

capability, and maritime search and res-
