"From another perspective, Obama studying Reagan is not surprising. Why? During Reagan's tenure, total government size and scope grew, with constant cheers from conservatives who unwittingly did not realize it. I think it is possible Obama wanted to study just exactly how to do that: Increase the size and scope of government while having conservatives love you."
