Dear Teachers,

When it comes to learning, we all know that one size doesn't fit all. We've heard from many of you that one of your biggest day-to-day challenges is teaching students whose reading skills vary greatly. We're here to help! Our website now offers a lower-Lexile version of one story per issue. We place the lower-level article in the same layout that appears in the magazine so it's not obvious to students that it's been leveled down. In this issue, our article about the cheap price of gas has a Lexile level of 1210L; the Lower Reading Level version has a Lexile of 1040L.

Match each reader to the version of the article that meets his or her needs, so that all students get a text that challenges them while allowing for comprehension. Struggling readers still get all the elements that come with any Upfont article--like engaging photos, maps, and infographics.
