To increase awareness among its college-age demographic, First National Bank, Omaha, Neb., last September distributed 7,000 free compact discs (CDs) of original songs composed and performed by 13 local bands. The CDs were given out at local university campuses and at bank locations.

The tracks on the CD were carefully selected to appeal to the bank's young adult demographic. Three of the songs received airplay on Iowa Western Community College's radio station.
