SKAG WAY - The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad will offer train service to Carcross, Yukon Territory, starting June 2001, said railroad officials.

The WP&YR currently has roundtrip excursions from Skagway to White Pass Summit, Fraser, B.C. and Lake Bennett, B.C. Service to Carcross will make the WP&YR the longest operating narrow gauge in North America.

The announcement of the additional service was made as part of the company's golden spike centennial celebration in Carcross this summer.
