After getting feedback from troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Spec. Ops. Brand, of Monhans, Texas, designed and manufactured an easily removable nylon vest for the Interceptor body-armor system.

"Wearing body armor is pretty much a full-time experience for our troops. Even back at base, they need the ballistic protection of body armor, but they don't need to be wasting time and energy loading...
