I enjoyed Mr. Rubin's article, "Impeachment of a Civil Litigant with Criminal Convictions" (November). The article properly cites to F.S. [section] 119.01 as a mechanism for gathering documents from a government source. However, I believe the reference in the article to a "Sunshine Law request" is somewhat misleading and is usually more accurately applied to meetings of public boards and viewing the minutes of such meetings.
