Providence Gets New Officers.

The Providence Alaska Foundation board of directors recently elected Anchorage architect Mark Kneedler as chairman. Kneedler is vice president of Architects Alaska and has served on the foundation's board since 1996.

Municipality of Anchorage City Attorney Mary Hughes was elected vice chair of the board. Susan Bramstedt, public affairs manager for Alaska Airlines, was elected secretary. Jeff Lowenfels, president of Yukon Pacific Corp., was elected treasurer.

The new board will serve a three-year term with the option of being reelected to a second three-year term.
