Propper International has won a new two-part contract to supply hot-weather boots to the U.S. Army and the Afghan National Army. The Defense Logistics Agency awarded the three-year contract to Propper after an extensive bidding process.

The company will provide boots in two colors: tan for the U.S. Army and black for the Afghan Army. The contract, totaling just over $48 million, will run through fiscal 2020. The boots will be manufactured in Propper's Puerto Rico facilities.
