Notice is hereby given by John G. Maxa, Secretary-Treasurer of the International Association of Defense Counsel, that the Executive Committee of the IADC proposes the following amendment to the IADC Bylaws to be voted on by the IADC membership at the opening session of the 2003 Annual Meeting of the Association at the Grand Wailea Resort and Spa, Maui, Hawaii at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2003:

ARTICLE III

Membership

Section 2. Nomination and Election of Members: Membership in this Association shall be by invitation only, and such nominations for membership shall be made by a member of the Association.
