A Bedford, Mass., technology firm has developed a multi-axis image acquisition and motion detection-ray system that is better able to identify weapons and explosives at baggage screening stations and other check points.

Reveal Imaging Technologies Inc.'s new product is the ArrayCT that unlike current static x-ray checkpoints produces simultaneous, multiple images from different angles of moving bags.

The resulting image, says a spokesman, "enables the operator to identify threat objects by theft shape, placement...
