A new international survey reports that wireless technology will deliver the next big productivity boost. Fifty percent of the 9,000 respondents from 18 countries predicted wireless networks would have the most significant impact on productivity and saving time in the next five years (up to three responses were possible). Other improvements identified as productivity boosts were greater computing speed (44 percent); smart cards (41 percent); Internet/broadband (40 percent); and all forms of portable computing (39 percent).
