This new edition of the Principles provides a comprehensive analysis of the common law and statutory provisions pertaining to health care provision in England and Wales. Each of the chapters has been fully updated to take account of judicial and legislative developments since the last edition. Some chapters have been re-written, for example, dealing with the regulation of health care professionals, confidentiality and data protection, and research. New chapters have been added dealing with the regulation of medicinal products and devices and patenting and the human body.
