Prime omission.

With regard to the article in the December issue of Americas, entitled "Leading Ladies of Latin America," I must note that the author unfortunately left out the name of Kim Campbell who was the Prime Minister of Canada between June and November of 1993. She took office by virtue of her position as leader of the governing Conservative Party after the retirement of Primer Minister Brian Mulroney. Her administration was a short one, since her party lost by a landslide to the Liberal Party in the elections of November 1993.
