Best piece ever on this subject ("High Infidelity," July/August). Well written, inclusive, most certainly balanced. About the only person he missed was George H. W. Bush's purported affair.

Mr. Benen brings to mind the level to which American political campaigns have sunk. I would like to think voters are more concerned with getting out of a war, stabilizing the economy...
