As I sit down to write my last President's Page for the year, it is astonishing to realize that my term as President of the IADC is all but over. It has been an enormous privilege to serve the IADC as its President. We have been in high gear since the moment that I accepted the gavel from Jim Campbell in Barcelona last July. Mary Pat and I have represented the interests of the 1ADC and the defense bar in general throughout the world. Our Treasurer-Elect, Joe O'Neil, assembled an impressive group of authors and under his watchful eye they produced Phase 1V of the Joan Fullam Irick Privacy Project. This is a great way for new lawyers to be introduced to our organization. I had the good fortune to attend a number of Regional Meetings this year, and to see at first hand the benefits that we gain from these Regional Meetings. If you are interested in hosting a meeting in your area, please contact Andrew Miller at the IADC, and he will get the ball rolling.

Our "Think IADC First" program has been a huge hit with our members. Think IADC First reminds our members to consider other members of IADC when they have referrals to be made outside their jurisdiction. We have simplified the website to make finding IADC...
