HIGHLIGHTS
This year it is more important than ever to possess Texas Criminal Forms in
your practice arsenal. January 1st 2014 marked the beginning of a new
statutory criminal discovery scheme in Texas—the first change to our
discovery statute in decades. The practical effect of this sweeping change is
that previous discovery motions have become obsolete.
This update also includes motions to accompany subpoenas, access DNA
testing data, and suspend execution of a state jail sentence.
